Explanation:
The indicator values describe the range of tolerance of a morpho-functional group (MFG) across the trophic spectrum: a low value indicates a high tolerance and therefore a poor indicator value. The opposite is true for a high indicator value. Trophic scores indicate the trophic preference of a MFG: the higher the values, the higher the affinity for eutrophic waters.
