Explanation:
The life form type describes the way of life of the respective species. The classification of types follows the "Bundestaxaliste Germany" (BTL; Schilling 2020). In addition to benthic and planktic, epiphytic and pleuston-living as well as combinations of these types are used. As a new category the type "B_drifted" was introduced. These are originally benthic species that have been demolished and are now drifting in the plankton.
